NEWS – Wish List Response is outstanding
|
|
Having had 3 large vans carry much
needed supplies to Romania in October, we anticipated it would have to
last until Spring. To our amazement, Andrew Taylor of South Wales had
other ideas. |

As pastor of Moriah
Christian Fellowship, Andrew launched an appeal for Wish List
items to be donated. He would arrange and fund a van to bring the
supplies out before Christmas. Even Andrew was shocked by the
response, especially a week before he was due to leave when he
realised the supplies being donated wouldn’t fit in the van booked. |

No worries for Andrew –
let’s book another van he said! And 2 more drivers!! And another ferry
crossing!!!
Lots of things to organise, but it all fell into place, believing the
Lord was in control.
Two more van loads of supplies arrived in Cihei on December 11th
and we are so thankful to all the people who generously donated
supplies and of course to Andrew for organising the trip and to his
travelling companions - Gary Berrill,
Mitchell McEwan and Colin Davies. |

Then, due to further
support of Andrew Large from Derbyshire organising special
stacking beds for the Tileagd Nursery and Paul & Alison Jeanes
arranging Irrigation supplies for Gepiu – we had another van needed
and so Maria, Georgi and Ilie left Romania straight after
Christmas with our big van to load up for the return journey on
January 4th. They will be back in Romania by the 6th
ready to start work at the office on January 7th.

Thank you everyone who has been
involved with collecting supplies, getting them to Leeds or to Romania
for the support
of the people we care for in our projects.
An updated list is now on the Site for you to start collecting and
planning the next transit across Europe, probably in April.
