REPORTS FROM THE
FIELD
Linda
Rudderforth - Gepiu
The sky is grey
and cloudy and yet so beautiful because of the rain it brings for
the gardens. It is truly a blessing from the Lord to have the rain
so the plants
can grow. It is amazing to see the garden coming about in its full
glory, everything we have planted so far has started to come up and
that is so exciting because it means food for the centres and the
children. We are in the process of building the new pig house as
the old one finally fell down, the pigs will really enjoy this new
house with its outside porch to bask in the sun, haha. The chickens
are growing fast and we now have l0 laying hens for eggs.
The centre is
filled with the children for help with their studies and a hot meal
every day. They are growing so fast, it seems like just yesterday
they only came up to about my rib cage in stature and now they are
getting taller than me. I hope that is because of the good food
Violeta prepares for them. The summer
is fast approaching and that will mean that we won't see them as
much and that is always a sad time for me because I miss their
smiling faces and loud laughter.
Catalin
and Lavie are settling in nice and the children love them a lot, it
is so great to have this young couple as our project leaders. They
challenge the children to do their best and their strong Christian
leadership is showing through in the way the children are responding
in their lives.
The Lord is
blessing Gepiu and what He wants us to do for Him. I pray that you
all will be blessed by our Father as well.
God be
with you.
In Christ
Linda
