Nia is an Honorary Trustee of The Smiles Foundation, and an original co-founding Trustee with Kevin Hoy, when Nia was a touring Christian Singer and Kevin was her Manager.

In 2011, Nia returned from family time out to regular concert work with a new album
'Memory Lane'.
For the whole of that year, Nia's concerts were all in support of
The Smiles Foundation. Nia has kindly agreed to continue to promote Smiles through her Memory Lane concerts in 2012. In addition to this, any concert booked direct with Dawn at the Leeds office, Smiles will receive an offering taken up at that event for its work in Romania.

Memory Lane, presented by Nia

Nia, is 'on the road' helping to promote the work of The Smiles Foundation wi
thin her concert presentations, throughout the United Kingdom.

Nia says "
The tour is called Memory Lane and as well as looking back at what was, as 2011 was 25 years of ministry for me – we’ll also take a look at how God is faithful even when we’re not – of how He’s good, even when we’re bad…and how He loves…because He IS love.  The evenings will include music, thought provoking messages and laughter - all in equal measure. – the feel of the evening will be friendly and relaxed – possibly even café style, very easy to invite non Christians to, and guaranteed to be 'cringe-free', yet with a clear message. " (See letter from Nia)

'Memory Lane' is very much a Nia concert, and not 'overtly' Smiles, as in the past with the Tileagd Choir, but all these concerts will feature a specially commissioned Smiles Video to Nia's 'Ruth's Song'.
A particularly poignant song which talks of standing along side a friend in a difficult situation. Every person attending a concert will receive a leaflet on The Smiles Foundation, and an offering will be taken up to support the ongoing work.

Please do read the letter from Nia, as she introduces and explains the tour in greater detail, and also explains where she has been!

We would like to encourage
ALL our Smiles supporters to consider whether they could host one of these concerts at their own church. So please contact Dawn for further information, costs and date options.
